vNUNO ESPIRITO SANTO has warned Wolves fans he is not WEST HAM feeling his selfie. The Portuguese boss would win WOLVES any popularity poll in Wolverhampton, where he enjoys cult status, but admits London Stadium, he’s feeling Tomorrow, the 7pm strain of not letting supporters get too close.

Nuno prepares his men to face a West Ham side who will be without manager David Moyes and two players because they tested positive for coronavirus.

And it’s that scenario that has Nuno running for cover. He said: “I get asked to sign autographs or have a selfie taken and it’s very, very difficult.

“Sometimes, you are not polite. I’m not quite sure some e of them understand this situation. n. I hope they understand why I can’t n’t be so friendly. I wish I could provide them with a nice selfie or aphoto, a photo, but I just can’t.

“Sometimes, I think I lose ose this respect or sympathy for people, but it’s about protecting me and the people I live with.”

Nuno says West Ham’s am’s problem of not having boss oss Moyes, or players Issa Diop op and Josh Cullen, available e is something more clubs s are going to face and d called for the test procedure - to be ramped up.

He said: “It’s a very stressful situation. We need better clarification and faster results on tests. It can be improved and that would help us tremendously. It’s clear the pandemic will not be solved soon and problems will become more difficult.

“We’re not concerned about going to West Ham. I wish David and his players the fastest recovery possible. What has happened to them can happen to any one of us. It’s tough. We trust the authorities to keep things safe and healthy for us.”

Nuno could throw new £27million signing Nelson Semedo from Barcelona straight in against the Hammers, a side Wolves have beaten on all four occasions since they returned to the Premier League.

He said: “We’ve brought in a highquality player, who has played at the highest level for club and country. He started working with us two days ago and I think he fits in well here.”

Portugal international Semedo ( below) looks set to fill the spot vacated by y Matt Doherty’s y switch to Tottenham, while forward Diogo Jota has joined Liverpool. But Nuno rebuffs the idea they have “lost” key players. He added: “We didn’t lose them. That’s not the right word. “Players go out and come in, it’s nor -

mal.”
