Hel wants a Rosie return
The mum- of- two is expecting her third child with fiance Scott Sinclair in March, and says while her children are her priority right now, she “really misses everything about Coronat ion S t ree t” since leaving in 2017.
She says: “I was on Coronation Street since I was a little girl, since I was nine, so it’s a massive part of my life. I really miss it.
“I really miss my acting. I miss the make- up girls, I miss the cast, I miss the excitement of fi lming. I miss everything about it.
I’d love to return.”
And she couldn’t be better placed, having moved close to Salford, where Corrie is filmed, from Glasgow earlier this year when footballer Scott transferred to Preston from Celtic. Helen, seen modelling her Pour Moi range, has enjoyed spending more time this year with Scott and daughters Matilda, five, and Delilah, two, but faced some tough moments during the pandemic.
In the first trimester of her pregnancy, she was in hospital with hyperemesis g r a v i d a r um, which caused s e v e r e vomiting.
Covid restriction also forced her to delay plans for the wedding.
Helen, who had a Harry Potterthemed 30th birthday bash in August, says: “We really want to get married but we don’t know what to do. I constantly think about it.
“But with coronavirus, you don’t know if you’re coming or going. “But I love being a mum. It’s what I’ve always wanted, so I feel super, super lucky.”
