Pathetic Trump insults US dead

- Edited by

I hope I’m not the only one who, every time I see Johnson and Trump, thinks: “How did they end up leading the free world?”

I watched Trump, still obviously not well, pretending he had beaten the virus and acting as if he had just slain a dragon.

His speech filmed on the White House balcony was embarrassing and insulting to the more than 212,000 Americans who have died from Covid-19.

Each day I feel as if I’m living in some sort of dystopian nightmare.

Thankfully, Keir Starmer brings an air of clarity to the proceedings once a week at PMQs. And I was relieved when Biden told Trump to “Shut up, man!” when he tried to turn the first presidential debate into a monologue.

There’s hope in America, but we’ll have to wait another four years for sanity to prevail here.

I’ve a question for all Americans. Given a choice, would you vote for an incompetent, narcissistic, egotistical, self-obsessed, arrogant, deluded, pathological and apparently racist liar to be your president? Of course not. Well, you did four years ago and Trump is the laughing stock of the world. Don’t make the same mistake again. Please get rid of him and make the world a better place. He is a pathetic excuse for a human being.

The likes of Eisenhower, JFK and Reagan would be

spinning in their graves if they knew he held the same office. Mick Hall, Preston, Lancs

I sincerely hope decent Americans are not taken in by Trump claiming he’s beaten Covid. No doubt all his gun- slinging supporters will swallow it whole.

What a kick in the teeth for all who have lost loved ones to this virus. The man has no shame.

What a propaganda coup. Trump contracts Covid-19 and a few days later is cured and apparently feels better than ever. One thing is for sure, he has a good makeup artist working for him.

Trump is the ultimate con man and my fear is he will con Americans to get another four years in the White House.

When Donald Trump was criticised for putting his security

guards at risk by getting in his car while being treated for Covid-19, it was pointed out they are expected to “take a bullet” for the president.

That may well be the case, but they surely weren’t expecting the president himself being the one to fire that bullet.

Trump is trying to turn his brush with coronavirus into vote winner by attempting to portray himself as some sort of hero who fought the disease and came out on top.

Just another big con, something the man is very good at.

Is President Trump’s amazing revival from coronavirus a miracle or a clever way to boost his popularity now he has fallen behind in the polls?

Somehow I find it hard to believe anything he says.
