NAOMIE SEX LETTERS STALKER GOES FREE
‘Fixated’ labourer left Bond girl living in fear
A STALKER who left James Bond star Naomie Harris feeling “absolutely petrified” was spared further time in jail yesterday.
Ii Ovisyonairo Ii, 37, developed a “fixation” with the actress who plays Miss Moneypenny in the Bond films.
The Danish labourer, who was obsessed with famous women, bombarded her with sexually charged love letters around Valentine’s Day and visited her home.
Ii held his head in his hands when he received a 21-month suspended jail sentence yesterday, after admitting two counts of stalking Naomie, 44, and her mother Carmen.
He has already spent seven months in jail and will be kept under house arrest in Dorset while wearing a GPS tag. He was also handed a restraining order.
Ii had attempted to get to Naomie through Carmen, booking a spiritual healing session with her in 2019 and turning the conversation to her daughter in the hopes of being introduced.
Later it was discovered Ii monitored Naomie’s media appearances, had a dossier on her, as well as passports in different names and women’s clothing.
He also kept letters from other famous women in his farm in Canterbury, Kent. Judge Noel Lucas QC told London’s Wood Green crown court that Ii was “not prepared to take no for an answer”.
He said Naomie – star of 28 Days Later and Pirates of the Caribbean – received letters from Ii on “heavily scented” red paper. Ii wrote: “We’ve already missed out on two decades of loving relations. I don’t want to miss another week without you in my life.”
He signed off: “With unconditional love from your compassionate companion – your romantic Scorpio.”
On February 29, Ii went to her home in North London with a jewellery box. The judge said: “She believed you were going to come inside and harm her. She says she is struggling to sleep and will always be looking over her shoulder until she knows you can’t harm her.”
The court heard Ii has Asperger’s syndrome and has never been in a romantic relationship. Speaking from HMP Pentonville, sobbing Ii said: “I totally apologise. I never meant to cause any distress and I’m so remorseful.”
Ii, who changed his name from Anders Christian Nymand, must do 50 hours of rehab and 300 hours of unpaid work.
