CONOR GALLAGHER has had a taste of life in the big time – now he wants more.

The midfielder, on loan at West Brom from Chelsea, made his Premier League debut in the goalless draw against Burnley five days ago (above), when he played the full 90 minutes.

And he is relishing the chance to help Slaven Bilic (right) and the Baggies to pick up their first win of the season when they visit Brighton on Monday. day.

Gallagher said: “It was an amazing feeling to make my Premier League debut. It’s been a dream of mine to play in the Premier League. ue. To do it with Albion was amazing too.

“I was happy with my performanc­e. We would have all liked to get three points and I was disappoint­ed that we didn’t. There’s obviously room for improvemen­t and I’m confident it will happen.

“All the boys and the boss were very pleased for me. They all congratula­ted me before and after the game.

“They’ve been great for me. To get a lot of nice messages after the game was great as well. I had so many text and WhatsApp messages. I’ve got a lot of friends and family who are always supporting me. It’s always nice when you get a message from them.”

Baggies, still searching for their first Premier League win of the season, have failed to score in three of their opening five games, but 20-year-old Gallagher says ther there is more to com come. “This season I w want to play as many games as possible for Albion. I feel like I can help a lot,” he sa said. “I feel I can imp improve here too. I’ve had my first game but I’m already looking forward to the next one. It’s time to push on, improve and prove myself to everyone.”

Gallagher, though, doesn’t expect his second game to be like his first.

He added: “Brighton will be a tough game. I’m expecting a different game to the Burnley one. The ball was in the air for most of the Burnley game but I think it’ll be on the floor a lot more at Brighton.”
