HADDADI HAS KILLER PUNCH FOR SEVILLA

-

SEVILLA joined Chelsea in the Champions League knockout stages with two games to spare after a stoppage-time goal by Munir El Haddadi snatched a 2-1 win at Krasnodar.

It left Europa Leagueholders Sevilla second in Group E behind the Blues on goals and nine points ahead of Krasnodar and Stade Rennes.

Sevilla made a great start as Ivan Rakitic scored after only four minutes with a thumping first-time shot from outside the penalty area into the bottom-right corner.

The visitors then missed several chances to double their advantage, with El Haddadi (above) and Diego Carlos coming close.

Krasnodar’s half-time substitution worked as Wanderson equalised in the 56th minute, the

Brazilian capping a flowing move by beating keeper Tomas Vadik with a crisp strike.

But El Haddadi had the final say as his sublime shot with his weaker right foot beat Evgeni Gorodov.

Two goals from Martin Braithwaite eased the pressure on Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman as they won 4-0 at Dynamo Kiev.

Barca, with just three league wins this season, took control of the match early in the second half.

Sergino Dest put them ahead in the 52nd minute and then five minutes later Braithwaite (above) was there on the far post to slot home the second.

He completed the win in the 70th minute from the penalty spot before Antoine Griezmann made it four in stoppage time.

Alvaro Morata scored in injury time as Juventus beat Ferencvaros 2-1.

Cristiano Ronaldo got his first Champions League goal of the season, after Myrto Uzuni had given the visitors a 19th-minute lead.
