Taunt as Epstein ‘lynchpin’ held
PRINCE Andrew’s sex accuser used his bizarre claim that he cannot sweat to taunt him after helping arrest an alleged lynchpin in pal Jeffrey Epstein’s underage sex ring.
French model agent Jean-Luc Brunel allegedly supplied eight girls for an orgy on the late billionaire’s private Caribbean island – which the Duke of York is accused of attending.
Virginia Giuffre, who has claimed in court that Epstein loaned her out to Andrew three times for sex aged 17, said it was “great working with the French authorities to help take down” Brunel.
And the 37-year-old added: “Are you sweating yet, Prince Andrew? You should be. Your buddy Jean-Luc Brunel is behind bars. Remember those girls he supplied to you on the island?
“Well, you might want to start thinking of new allergies cuz you’re about to burn. This piggy will roll over on EVERYONE to save his own bacon.
“Those who participated in this sex trafficking ring should be worried.”
She was referring to comments by the Prince, 60, during a car-crash 2019 TV interview in which he refuted her allegations. Andrew said he could not have been the man she said was sweating in a club with her in 2001 as a condition caused by his service in the Falklands conflict means he cannot perspire.
Brunel set up agency MC2, which prosecutors believe was used as a cover for Epstein’s ring. Many of his alleged crimes are said to have taken place in a Paris flat owned by the financier.
Ms Giuff re claimed Brunel’s arrest will affect others accused of being involved in Epstein’s abuse – including Ghislaine Maxwell. The 58-year-old is in a New York jail awaiting trial accused of grooming and abusing three girls aged 18 and under. She has pleaded not guilty.
Epstein committed suicide in a New York jail in August 2019, aged 66, while awaiting trial for a range of offences.
The Duke has vehemently denied all of Ms Giuffre’s allegations. A spokesman declined to comment yesterday.
