Patel’s claims so wide of the mark

Whether you are a Nicola Sturgeon supporter or not, the outrage from some quarters on the First Minister momentarily forgetting to wear her face mask makes me really angry. Who hasn’t forgotten to reapply or put on their face mask at some point? Good for you if you’ve never erred, but I’ve done this at least twice when getting up to go to the loo in a cafe and a restaurant. Give the woman a break for goodness sake – and anyone else who makes this brief blunder for that matter. Having read about the hordes of greedy, inconsiderate, selfish people panic bulk-buying in supermarkets when it’s not necessary as the shops have ample supplies (Mirror, December 22), surely it’s up to the supermarket management to restrict the number of products a person can buy? Or could it be they want to sell as much as possible to increase their profits?
