AN art dealer claims he has been bombarded with hate mail after buying and removing a Banksy mural painted on a city wall.

The building’s landlord pocketed a six-figure sum after selling “Hula Hoop Girl” to John Brandler.

It showed a young girl appearing to hula hoop with a tyre from a bike.

The sale included a real bike with a missing wheel, which Banksy left chained in Radford, Nottingham.

Residents were furious when it was cut away at 5am on Wednesday.

Essex-based Mr Brandler revealed he had been sent twisted messages. He said: “One said I was a Nazi, I ought to be in jail, that I had stolen it. Another from a financial adviser said a group would seek any method for its return.”

Strictly pro James won the show in 2019 after getting to grips with his new footwear, and slippery dancefloor. Jayne: “He wasn’t a natural at skating but he has that discipline and work ethic. He worked really hard on his skating, once he mastered that and was comfortable he took the lead on the ice which made it look like a really strong performance.” Christopher: “His ballroom background kicked in and once he mastered the blades he shone. He was meticulous in his training. James was great fun, however, and I don’t think he’ll mind us saying he would sometimes over-analyse steps.”
