Only a chump believes Trump is Mr Vaccinator

-

AS Joe Biden rolls out America’s 100 millionth Covid shot, Donald Trump sought to take credit, claiming the jab would be five years away if not for him.

“I hope everyone remembers when they’re getting the Covid-19 – often referred to as the China Virus – vaccine, that if I wasn’t president, you wouldn’t be getting that beautiful shot for five years, at best,” said old big head. What rubbish.

People would do well to remember him saying 13 months ago that the States was two weeks away from having no cases, that injecting bleach may kill the virus and that Covid was a hoax.

A California man killed his wife then propped her body up on the sofa as their kids opened presents on Christmas morning, prosecutors allege. San Francisco TV news veteran Don Ford was reporting on the large rise of robberies in the city’s Twin Peaks neighbourhood when, you’ve guessed it, he was robbed. The reporter was interviewing homeowners about the spate of crimes when a “white luxury sedan” vehicle pulled up.

Three men stepped out, with a fourth remaining in the vehicle, and robbed Ford at gunpoint before taking the camera.

A Detroit man was given the wrong lottery ticket but there was no mistake about the result – a £1.43million win. After stopping for change in a petrol station to pump up his tyre the man asked for a $10 Lucky 7s scratch-off ticket.

“The clerk handed me the $20 ticket by mistake. He offered to exchange it for me but something told me to keep it. I am sure glad I did,” the man said.

Natasha Nancel, 24, drove into a ditch after leaving a bar, and her car was then hit by a truck driven by Melvin Arnt, 30, who was coming to her aid. Both drivers tested double the legal blood-alcohol limit and have been charged with drink-driving by police in East Nashville, Tennessee.

Nine great apes at San Diego zoo have been given an experimental Covid-19 vaccine, leaving elderly residents in the city who have still to be given the shot beating their chests.

P.S.

Like a lot of couples in lockdown, romance in my barman Richard’s house has, like a bout of Covid, been coughing and spluttering along. He asked his wife what her wildest fantasy was. She said: “Twelve hours of sleep and a buffet breakfast.”
