Deadpan Becks’ footie tips to Deadpool Ryan

Now the proud owner of Wrexham FC, Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds has been tapping up pal David Beckham for football tips.

Ryan explains: “If you can just make heavy eye contact with Beckham for... about 20 seconds, your football knowledge grows exponentia­lly. Sometimes I just FaceTime him and I’m just like, ‘Don’t speak. Just stare at me’.” The pair have been friends since Ryan, 44, quipped the footballer speaks like he “mouth-sexed a can of helium” in his film Deadpool. David, 45, took the dig sportingly and starred in an online skit where Deadpool apologises.
