OH NO JOSE! IBRA GRABS 400TH GOAL

-

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC’S 400th domestic league goal saw him get one over old boss Jose Mourinho as AC MILAN beat ROMA 2-1 in Serie A.

The veteran Swede scored a first-half free-kick before winning a penalty, which was converted after the break by Franck Kessie, as Mourinho’s men lost again.

And in the battle of the Chelsea old boys, it was Milan defender Fikayo Tomori who edged out Roma striker Tammy Abraham.

Abraham barely had a kick as he was snuffed out by his England team-mate.

But fittingly it would be Ibrahimovic – who has played in Sweden, Holland, Italy, France, America and England – who took centre stage as he reached another milestone.

Former Wolves keeper Rui Patricio was left flat-footed by the striker’s free-kick and then Ibrahimovic (below) was hauled down, as Kessie’s penalty ensured Mourinho lost his unbeaten home record in charge of Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.

Theo Hernandez’s 66th-minute red card handed Roma a lifeline, and despite Stephan El Shaarawy’s late strike, Mourinho saw his side lose further ground on the leaders.

It leaves Milan second with unbeaten NAPOLI leading the way on goal difference.

The leaders edged out struggling SALERNITANA as Piotr Zielinski scored a scrappy winner in a game where both sides had players sent off late on.

Napoli struggled in the absence of injured top-scorer Victor Osimhen and captain Lorenzo Insigne before sneaking home 1-0. Salernitana’s Grigoris Kastanos and Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly earned red cards inside the final 20 minutes.

INTER MILLAN remain third after Joaquin Correa’s double saw off UDINESE 2-0. FIORENTINA’s in-demand striker Dusan Vlahovic scored a hat-trick in a 3-0 win over a SPEZIA team stuck in the relegation zone.
