YOUR SHOUT
Fiona, I know you’ll agree with me when I say I am not looking forward to Christmas at all this year. It’s become a mad, sad, giant spending spree, and the whole spirit of it is becoming more and more lost amid the excess. Gill, Saltdean, Brighton
FP: Truthfully, I’m dreading it, Gill. It lost its magic for me long ago, BAH!
Fiona, have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I’d love to know because I haven’t. I’m actually dreading it as it’s so stressful, because, as you will probably know only too well, the huge weight of responsibility mostly falls upon us mums. Ho, ho, ho... not!
Pat, via email
FP: I do know only too well Pat. I’m also dreading it. You’re clearly a woman after my own heart!
Fiona, are you alright? It’s just that you’ve gone a bit quiet about your beloved Chelsea lately!
Rob, West London
FP: Ha! The results speak for themselves, Rob!
Fiona, I haven’t seen you on TV for a while. Are you OK?
Pamela, by email
FP: Sadly not. I have been suffering from the most awful anxiety and debilitating panic attacks, as if from nowhere. Very unlike me, but I don’t think I’m alone in that, sadly. It’s a sign of the times, I think. Fiona, thank goodness for your page on a Saturday. It’s my weekend ritual, along with a cup of tea and a yummy chocolate dunking biscuit. Linda, Nottingham
FP: Aw, I’ll drink to that, Linda. Mine’s a coffee though – and a Jaffa Cake. I do love a Jaffa Cake!
Fiona, am I the only person who wishes that everyone would lay off Meghan? It’s nothing short of bullying and terrible unkindness. What has she done to upset so many people – people who don’t even know her?
As far as I’m concerned she seems like a lovely, caring lady and this moronic bullying has to stop before it ends up in a very dark place.
Sarah, North Yorkshire
FP: I totally agree with you Sarah. I really don’t get the sad haters – their lives must be full of nastiness.
