HENDERSON’S INJURY TONIC FOR JURGEN
JURGEN KLOPP’S injury worries have eased two days before the Premier League clash with Arsenal.
Liverpool boss Klopp (above) had Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita, Curtis Jones, James Milner, Harvey Elliott and Joe Gomez on the crock list heading into the international break and then heard that Jordan Henderson, Sadio Mane, Andy Robertson and Divock Origi all picked up knocks representing their countries.
But skipper Henderson

That is a huge relief to Klopp, who was running short of midfielders.
Liverpool lost at West Ham before the international fortnight, their first defeat of the season, and will be overtaken by Arsenal if they slump again to London opposition on Saturday evening.
Robertson’s injury is also thought not to be as serious as first feared.
The left-back suffered a hamstring problem while playing for Scotland but no tear has been detected and he may yet be ready for the Southampton game a week on Saturday – the third of three successive Liverpool matches at Anfield.
Klopp will surely not risk him against Arsenal, and Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Porto is a dead rubber as Liverpool have already sealed a place in the knockout stages.
Veteran Milner has returned to training after a hamstring pull but is still a week or two away from full fitness, while Firmino (hamstring) and defender Gomez (calf) are not expected to retturn any time soon.
Jones has an eye problem which doctors say needs “several weeks” to heal naturally, but Senegal international Mane is fit and training again, while Belgium striker Origi is likely to return against Porto.
Elliott, who dislocated his ankle against Leeds in September, is back running on grass as the first part of his return.
