Clear Kop hint over Sadio exit

- FROM JOHN CROSS in Paris

LIVERPOOL boss Jurgen Klopp has dropped the clearest hint to date that Sadio Mane is ready to leave Anfield.

Bayern Munich are desperate to sign the Kop forward this summer.

The 30-year-old, who has 12 months left on his current contract, insists he will not make any announcement about his future until after tonight’s Champions League final here in the French capital but Klopp said he would be a “big player” wherever he plays.

Bayern are ready to make their move on Monday so tonight’s showpiece final in Paris could be Mane’s swansong after a glorious six years on Merseyside.

Klopp said: “This is the wrong moment to speak about Sadio – wherever he plays next season he will be a big player, definitely.” Klopp insisted he “could not care less” about the Bayern talk but Liverpool have so far been unable to tie down Mane to new deal.

Mo Salah has insisted he will definitely be at Liverpool next season but, after signing Diogo Jota (above) and Luis Diaz, the Reds may now be ready to look to a new era and the end of their famous front three of Mane, Salah and Roberto Firmino.

Ex-Borussia Dortmund boss Klopp added: ”Sadio is in the shape of his life – he’s in brilliant shape, it’s a joy to watch him in training and in the game. Football has asked him a lot this year, a long season with a lot of games but one of the most successful for him and for us.

“The Bayern rumours I couldn’t care less about at the moment – we are completely focused on this game. Sadio knows how important it is. It’s not the first time in my career that Bayern rumours have come
