CALLUM HENDRY completed a dramatic Salford comeback with two goals in 76 seconds deep into added time.

Hendry had a penalty saved in the 90th minute but bounced back to score in the 95th and 96th minute to clinch the points. Iraqi star Ali Al-Hamadi had restored Wimbledon’s lead after Salford’s Conor McAleny cancelled out Kasey McAteer’s opener.

COLCHESTER 4 Akinde 24, 28, Chilvers 40, Tovide 55 CREWE 0

JOHN AKINDE struck twice as Colchester gave their survival hopes a major lift with a first win in 10 games.

Akinde’s double and an effort from Noah Chilvers put the home side three up at half-time before Samson Tovide added the 55th-minute fourth.

The win leaves Colchester four points clear of the bottom two, just six points behind Crewe, who had won their previous two games.

GEORGE THOMSON completed struggling Harrogate’s two-goal comeback at high-flying Leyton Orient.

Richie Wellens’ league leaders were on course for a routine win as Ruel Sotiriou’s double had them two up at half-time.

But two goals in three second-half minutes from Anthony O’Connor and Thomson rescued a draw for Harrogate that moves them three points clear of the drop zone.

STOCKPORT 4 Wootton 9, 45+3, Stretton 65, Knoyle 89 NEWPORT 0

KYLE WOOTTON’S firsthalf double set Stockport on course for the win that moves them into the top three as they chase backto-back promotions.

Wootton headed in a ninth-minute opening goal before doubling the lead in first-half added time.

Stockport, who last lost at home in November, then wrapped-up a comfortabl­e win with efforts from Jack Stretton and Kyle Knoyle.

JOSH GORDON netted the first hat-trick of his career to revive Barrow’s fading play-off hopes.

The striker slotted home in the 18th and 47th minutes before completing his treble with a 55th-minute penalty after Travis Johnson fouled Ged Garner.

Garner added the fourth with his first Bluebirds goal as Crawley dropped into the bottom two in the table.

GEORGE LLOYD struck deep into added time as Grimsby came from behind to end their six-game winless run.

Doncaster had won just one in 10 but went ahead through Aidan Barlow in the first half.

The visitors levelled through Niall Maher’s close-range effort in the 85th minute and completed the comeback when substitute Lloyd struck in the sixth minute of injury time.

OWEN DODGSON’S equaliser kept Rochdale’s survival hopes alive and denied Mansfield the chance to maintain their hold on a play-off place.

Hiram Boateng put the promotion-chasing Stags ahead after six minutes, but the visitors levelled when Dodgson struck his first senior goal two minutes before the break.

Bottom club Dale remain six points from safety with five games remaining.

HARVEY SAUNDERS’ first-half goal was enough to secure Tranmere’s first win in seven games – and add to the problems facing Swindon boss Jody Morris.

Saunders poked home from close range in the 22nd minute and the visitors were unable to find a way back despite late chances.

The Robins are now without a win in their last eight games.

ANDY COOK fired home his 27th goal of the season as Bradford boosted their challenge for automatic promotion.

Scott Banks put the Bantams ahead in the 12th minute and Sutton passed up the chance to level when Lee Angol missed a penalty.

Harry Chapman and Cook put the home side in control before Omar Bugiel headed a late consolatio­n.

HARTLEPOOL 1

NICKY FEATHERSTO­NE’S first goal of the season earned the point that lifted Hartlepool out of the bottom two.

Danny Rose raised Stevenage hopes of climbing back into the top three with a 25th-minute header.

But Feathersto­ne produced the equaliser immediatel­y after the break as Pools extended their unbeaten run under new boss John Askey to eight games.

A LATE winner from Will Hondermarc­k got Northampto­n’s promotion challenge back on track.

The Cobblers were aiming to respond after Friday’s defeat at Newport and went ahead through Louis Appere in the 32nd minute.

Gillingham’s Aiden O’Brien levelled but Hondermarc­k’s longrange effort sealed victory for second-placed Northampto­n.

WALSALL 0 CARLISLE 0

CARLISLE slipped out of the top three after failing to break down a Walsall side reduced to 10 men following the 61st-minute dismissal of Hayden White.

White was sent off for an ugly challenge on Jack Armer but the visitors were unable to take advantage.

Owen Moxon spurned a late chance for the Cumbrians, who have now scored in just one of their last six games.
