Hitch & ditch Wednesday

Finding true love has never been a Bed of Roses.

But Keeping The Faith in romance has paid off big time for British Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.

The 19-year-old’s just got engaged to 20-year-old Jake Bongiovi, aka Jon Bon Jovi’s son - having previously dated Posh and Becks’ son Romeo and rugby legend Jason Robinson’s son, Joseph, both now 20.

Not only does this prove there’s a market for a celeb offspring dating app...

...but it shows Millie is wise beyond her years when it comes to love – something that cannot be said of a certain four-time divorcee at the other end of the age scale: Rupert Murdoch, 92.

Having just called off his latest engagement, he’s faced fresh embarrassment this week thanks to a highly-respected society magazine.

They’re claiming he ended his six-year marriage to Jerry Hall with a real Shot Through The Heart – or, as otherwise known, a 33-WORD EMAIL.

It reportedly read: “Jerry, sadly I’ve decided to call an end to our marriage.” (Ouch).

“We have certainly had some good times,” (yet clearly not enough).

“but I have much to do.” (So you’ve added a divorce on top?).

“My New York lawyer will be contacting yours immediately”. (Icier than Alaska in winter.)

If this was Murdoch’s best plan for breaking the news, how bad were the ones he dismissed? A full page ad in one of his newspapers? An “And finally” item on Fox News? Maybe a text: “Jerry, We’re . Add ur lawyer to our WhatsApp group txt ”.

Soz Murdoch, but as Millie’s future-pa-in-law would say, You Give Love a Bad Name.
