Sad for Harry’s kids to miss out
■ SO, it seems any kind of reconciliation between Harry and his father and brother isn’t going to happen before the Coronation.
I find it very sad such a rift has been opened up between Harry and his family, with neither side apparently willing to back down.
Under the circumstances, it is understandable he’s decided to attend the Coronation alone.
He does not want to miss such an important occasion, but Meghan’s presence would have only detracted from the main event. And they must have been concerned about the reception they’d receive from the public.
What a shame it has come to this and that Archie and Lilibet will miss out on this historic event.

■ I’m pleased Prince Harry has decided to attend the Coronation. He took his time making up his mind but I believe his appearance at such a monumental event was essential in supporting the King, despite the family rift. Perhaps there may even be a glimmer of hope that the occasion might cause Harry and William to set aside their differences, and rekindle their former relationship. It would certainly make the ceremony memorable in more ways than one! Jenny Pain Chatham, Kent
■ King Charles’ strained relationship with Harry may be understandable after his top-selling book Spare, but he should be more empathetic. After all, Charles brought his mother the Queen much stress and unwelcome publicity with his interview and book with Jonathan Dimbleby.
I hope Prince Harry is treated with respect when he graciously attends his father’s Coronation.
Meghan is right to stay in the US with their children. Why would she want to fraternise with people who, while putting on a false front, are suspected of continually undermining her behind her back?

■ I thought your headline “Spare will be there” was very appropriate regarding the announcement about Prince Harry attending the Coronation alone (April 13). But who really cares?
The Sussexes are wearing thin now. Meghan ripped her family apart and now Harry is doing the same to his. In my view, they should be stripped of their royal titles as they’re only using them to make money.

■ You would have thought Prince Harry would have brought his wife and children to the UK for the Coronation. Archie could have had a birthday party with his grandparents and his uncle, aunt and cousins.
I feel it’s a loss for their children that they won’t be at this momentous event and won’t get to know their English relatives. You have to feel sorry for Archie and Lilibet as none of this is their fault. Melvyn Kaye, Portsmouth
■ So, after much dithering Prince Harry will attend his father’s Coronation alone. Obviously his wife is snubbing the invite to avoid royal contact due to the tensions.
It’s a shame she isn’t coming to stand by her husband and to show the world what she’s made of instead of letting him go alone. Reg Barrett, Southminster, Essex
■ What a family the Windsors are. Apparently, the late Queen thought Prince Harry expendable enough to send to a war zone, while she thought Prince William should be protected.
I only wish Shakespeare was still around – he would have got two or three plays out of this saga.
