Cillian’s slasher scene as he’s caught short in alley after five-hour booze-up
CILLIAN Murphy is spotted relieving himself in an alley after a boozy afternoon in the pub.
The Peaky Blinders star, 46, who plays razor-wielding gangster Thomas Shelby in the BBC hit, was caught short following the five-hour drinking session.
The star was on the town with the show’s creator Steven Knight, with whom he is teaming up with again for a movie version of the drama.
They swapped The Garrison pub for The French House in Soho, Central London, on Tuesday afternoon.
The pair arrived just after 4pm and were seen knocking back pints of Guinness before moving on to bottles of champagne.
Cillian was spotted signing autographs and pictures of Shelby for fans who spotted him at the pub.
Knight swigged the remainder of the fizz before leaving the boozer at about 8pm. Cillian stayed on with friends and left the pub at 9.17pm, before heading up the road and stopping in an alleyway for a pee.
The actor recently starred in a new trailer for Oppenheimer, taking on the title role in the film about the US scientist who helped create the atomic bomb.
It is directed by Christopher Nolan, who cast Murphy in his previous films Dunkirk, Inception and Batman Begins.
Matt Damon and Florence Pugh also appear in the film.
Knight meanwhile is currently developing a drama series based on the life of William Shakespeare, based on a concept by Sarah Lancashire.
He recently said: “I’m excited to be embarking on what will be a landmark TV production.
“It’s a period I love and the team that has been put together is extraordinary.
“It’s a story that begins in the West Midlands and is close to my heart.”
