UNCLE Bryn’s “tidy” terrace from Gavin & Stacey is up for sale.

And fans of the BBC sitcom will be beating a path to South Wales to find out “what’s occurring” inside.

The neat red-brick building was the home of Uncle Bryn, played by Rob Brydon, and is across the road from where his sister-in-law, Gwen West, (Melanie Walters) and her daughter Stacey (Joanna Page) lived.

The three-bedroom home is listed at £212,000, or to rent at

£995 a month.

Current owner Lisa Edwards bought it in

2006, not knowing it was used as a filming location. The penny dropped as she watched the programme and saw Bryn showing Gavin (Matthew Horne) the wonders of the “world wide web” on his computer.

Lisa said: “The first time I realised I was in the house was watching it on TV. I thought it looked like my living room at the time and it was the weirdest feeling. Our neighbours were away so I couldn’t ask them so I rang the BBC. They said due to data protection they couldn’t tell us.

“They said they were filming series two and if someone knocked on my door then we would know.”

Show chiefs later approached Lisa to see if they could carry on using the house as the series continued.

Girl Guide leader Lisa added: “For season two, they redid the living room. There were stuffed animals and tanks – it didn’t look even slightly like our living room.”

Lisa met all the stars and said: “Joanna Page was really, really lovely. James Corden wasn’t really in any scenes but he directed most of it.”

The house in Trinity Street, Barry, has three double bedrooms, a lounge/diner, plus a kitchen and bathroom.
