William ‘has olive branch for Harry to rejoin gang’
PRINCE William has “an olive branch open” for his brother, the Duke of Sussex, according to the Princess of Wales’ uncle.
However, Celebrity Big Brother contestant Gary Goldsmith claims William is in a “horrible situation” in the feud with his brother.
The 58-year-old told TV presenter Fern Britton he has not met Meghan Markle, having earlier claimed her marriage to Prince Harry “put a stick in the spokes” of the family.
Fern remarked: “My feeling is that William must be furious to have suddenly the weight of it all on his head and his shoulders when he could’ve shared it.”
Her comments prompted Gary to respond: “I think he’s done an amazing job, in that horrible situation... and I’ve seen that he’s had an olive branch open every time for Harry to come back and be part of the gang.”

Fern went on to lament for King Charles, saying: “For a father to see two beloved sons warring that way is heartbreaking.”
Gary then took the opportunity to lay into Harry and Meghan again, saying: “I think they should take their titles away.”
He had previously stated he believes Harry will be welcomed back. “At some point, I think he’s going to come back and be part of the gang,” he added.
“I think we’re a very forgiving nation. I think everyone will give him a chance again.”
Gary – who has a conviction for assaulting his fourth wife Julie-Ann in 2017 – told housemate Sharon Osbourne: “It does bother me what the public perception of me is. I’m a normal bloke. It just so happens that my niece married Will.”
In another chat, he said: “I get narky when they say Kate’s a commoner, there’s nothing common about the family, nothing.”
