Fry-up looks top of Uttoxeter menu

Uttoxeter’s biggest race of the season is going to be an extreme test of stamina with four and a quarter miles to cover on heavy ground.ASK ME EARLY (3.00) has the tools to cope with the demands of this marathon contest.
He went off second favourite for the Welsh National last season but never figured after an early mistake. His subsequent form had been disappointing before he bounced back to form over 3m at Exeter last month when wearing cheekpieces for the first time.
There were plenty travelling better than him turning for home but he saw it out much the best and came right away for an impressive success.

STRIKING A POSE (2.25) rarely looked happy over fences but has been in great form since going back hurdling.
He got away with the 2m2½f distance when narrowly landing a conditional jockeys’ race under today’s rider Freddie Gingell at Exeter in January.
The 2m7f distance suited him much better when he won well returned to Exeter last month on heavy ground.
He’s still well handicapped on his best form. Have 1pt each-way 20-1. at Most firms are paying five places with Sky Bet stretching to six.
MONVIEL (1.50) takes a drop in grade on his fourth start since joining Harry Derham.
He was useful for Philip Hobbs last season and he will be sharper for his return from a three-month break in a hot Ascot handicap last month.
The cheekpieces he wears for the first time should help him get back in the groove. Have 1pt each-way at 17-2.
GOOD LOOK CHARM (2.10) is my best bet at Kempton. She has been consistent in hot handicaps since returning to hurdles with a victory at Wincanton in November.
Her fourth in the Lanzarote Hurdle came over today’s course and distance and she will probably be happier returned to this shorter trip after a solid Sandown effort over 2m7½f last month. 8-1.
