MOTHER’S PLEA TO BIDEN OVER MISSING SARM
President asked to step in over Brit’s disappearance
THE mother of British air hostess Sarm Heslop who disappeared three years ago in the US Virgin Islands is imploring President Joe Biden to help in the search for her daughter.
Brenda Street has spoken out while criticising local police, saying they have “not done their job as human beings”.
Sarm, 41, from Southampton, was living with her American boyfriend Ryan Bane on his £500,000 yacht, Siren Song.
In the middle of the night on March 8, 2021, she vanished without a trace and is still officially missing.
Despite extensive efforts, Sarm’s disappearance remains a mystery, with her mum suspecting foul play.
Speaking from her home in Ongar, Essex, Brenda revealed how she asked the US leader to intervene.
She said: “I emailed President Biden but he didn’t reply. I’m asking for his assistance, for some department of his to help you.”
Sarm and Mr Bane, from Michigan, had been out at a sports bar in Frank Bay, St
John, the night before she disappeared.
The American reported her missing at 2.30am the following morning and claimed he had awoke to find her gone.
He was advised to get in touch with the coastguard, but reportedly did not do so until nine hours later.

catamaran, a coastguard report alleged he was “highly intoxicated” and prevented a search of the cabin.
No suspects are wanted in connection with her disappearance and there seemed to be no explanation for it
Virgin Islands police have never interviewed Mr Bane or forensically tested the boat and he refused the FBI’s offer of help. Brenda said: “They’ve not done their jobs as police officers, not done their job as human beings.”
Sarm’s family are being helped in their search by ex-Met Police homicide commander David Johnston.
He said: “What we really need now is for [Foreign Secretary] David Cameron to hold his counterpart in the US to account, to demand the governor on the island, please give clear and unambiguous answers to the family regarding what they’ve done or what else could be done.
“And also to consider the formal interview of the boyfriend.”
