STUART HOGG admits the only thing that’s got him looking over his shoulder is prankster Scotland captain John Barclay – and not England.

The Dark Blues full-back has become an internet sensation for his priceless reactions to his skipper terrorising him at the Lensbury Hotel in a series of videos posted on social media.

Hogg has survived a few scares during this Six Nations campaign but insists his biggest concern is Barclay’s next stunt and not this afternoon’s Calcutta Cup clash.

He said: “I have no confidence walking along the corridors. I am worried that Barclay is going to jump out.

“It has been a challenging few weeks but the video clips seem to have got a few hits. I’ve tried to get revenge but Barclay doesn’t scare very easily. I’ve now got his room-mate Ryan Wilson involved so here’s hoping I can get him.

“The boys enjoy each other’s company and we have some fun. I’ll be trying to get to bed and Barclay will pop out of the cupboard. I would not have it any other way.”

Hogg might not be quaking in his boots but admits he is shaking with anticipation ahead of the most eagerly-awaited clash for a Scottish rugby side in decades.

A Calcutta Cup, Triple Crown and possible Six Nations title are all incentives to achieve something no Dark Blues side has managed since 1983.

But after impressive wins over Ireland and Wales 24-year-old Glasgow Warriors star Hogg insists it would not be a shock if Scotland won.

He said: “We are more than capable of winning. We’re going to do everything we possibly can to make it happen.

“We talked of our goals before the Six Nations and now it’s about making it a reality.

“We are very much in the position to win and nothing is
