A SCOTS actor has landed a dream role in Robbie William’s latest pop video.

As a boy, Callum Kerr was a huge fan of the Take That star.

So he was delighted when he got the part in the video for Robbie’s single Mixed Signals.

In the film, Callum, 22, plays a handsome stranger in a bar who catches the eye of Robbie’s girlfriend.

Callum, from Musselburgh, East Lothian, said: “Robbie Williams was my first favourite singer because my mum was a huge Take That and Robbie fan, so there were always CDs in the house.

“I used to get my hair cut like Robbie.

“I wanted to look like him and I used to listen to his album all the time.

“It’s so weird that I’ve now been in one of his videos. I had a really fun time with all the cast and the crew but Robbie wasn’t on set that day. He did all his filming a few days before.

“My mum had said, ‘Give Robbie a big kiss from me’, but that didn’t happen.”

Callum used to study finance at college but he decided to move to London a year-and-a-half ago to give acting a go.

He said: “I audition for a few things every week. The audition for this video was really random. I knew I was auditioning for a music video but it wasn’t until I got to the audition that they said it was for Robbie Williams.”

Callum’s mum Dawn is thrilled at his Robbie connection.

He said: “My mum loves seeing me on the screen.

“She’s just so proud.”
