BT line up jobs boost

BT are creating an extra 31 customer service jobs in Glasgow.

The telecoms giants have already hired 139 new staff since last April at Dial House in Glasgow as part of a plan to answer 90 per cent of calls in the UK and Ireland.

BT now have 7400 employees, with 2600 based in Glasgow.

BT Scotland director Brendan Dick said: “We’ve been impressed with the high quality of our Glasgow recruits.”
