LETHAL WEAPON

STV, 9pm MURTAUGH (Damon Wayans) didn’t always live in a posh neighbourhood with manicured lawns, near all the good schools. He used to live in a rougher area, before his wife Trish made him move.

But he still heads to his old patch with his son Roger Junior (Dante Brown) whenever they need a trip to the barbers, mainly to catch up with the locals.

So when a string of burglaries take place in his old community, he takes it personally. “They shot at me in my own neighbourhood. I want to know who these punks are,” he shouts, with his blood pressure rocketing in typical fashion.

But one of the criminals is dubbed the “black Hulk”, with arms the size of most people’s thighs. So he’s not going to be easy to bring in for questioning. And then they’ll need to convince him to talk. Good luck with that.

“What’s your role on the crew? I’m guessing breaking things?” quizzes Murtaugh.

Meanwhile, Riggs (Clayne Crawford) seems to be living on the beach like a hobo – and it’s not a good look.
