Dons fans go for a brief dash

-

ABERDEEN have already sold over 8,000 tickets for next month’s Scottish Cup semi-final against Hibs at Hampden.

Briefs were available to fans with the required loyalty points from Monday and supporters have wasted little time in securing a seat for the last-four showdown.

Both teams have been given an allocation of around 21,000 for the April 22 clash, with Dons fans occupying Hampden’s South, North and West stands.

Tickets, which cost £30-20 for adults and £15-10 for concessions, have now gone on general sale.

An Aberdeen spokesperson said: “We can confirm 8,000 tickets have now been sold with one month to go until the match.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have already committed to making the trip. We hope that many more will join us on the road to Hampden.”
