Ref is Bjorn again after Celtic triumph

BJORN KUIPERS – the ref who oversaw Celtic’s famous Champions League win over Barcelona – will be back in Glasgow on Sunday to take charge of Scotland’s tie with Slovenia.

The Dutch official was the man in the middle when the Hoops stunned the Catalans 2-1 in November 2012.

Kuipers returned to these shores in September 2015 for Scotland’s narrow 3-2 defeat against world champions Germany.

The 43-year-old took charge of the 2014 Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, Chelsea’s Europa League final win over Benfica in 2013 and the last Confederations Cup Final.
