THIS cop show had a four-year run between 1975 and 1979.

Originally starring David Soul, Paul Michael Glaser and Antonio Fargas, the show followed streetwise detective David Starsky who teams up with Ken Hutchinson to catch criminals around Bay City, aided by informer Huggy Bear.

The remake of the series was released in 2004, starring Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and rapper Snoop Dogg, and took £70million at cinemas.
