Threesome lovers fear sex tapes going public

THREESOME partners of Mel B and Stephen Belafonte have drafted in lawyers fearing their sex sessions may surface on secret videos allegedly made by the singer’s husband.

The 41-year-old Spice Girl claims her violent estranged husband blackmailed her over recordings in her successful application for a restraining order.

In her declaration made on Monday in a Los Angeles court, Mel said Belafonte would “surreptitiously videotape” their sex life and the threesomes he forced her into with other women over 10 years.

At least four of their alleged sex partners – including a high-profile US TV presenter – are said to have contacted attorneys fearing footage of their may surface online, ruining their careers.

But the number of partners over 10 years “runs into at least 20” including other TV presenters, PRs and relatives of Hollywood’s rich and famous.

A source said: “In the 10 years Mel and Belafonte were together, they welcomed a lot of women into their bedroom ... as well as the living room, kitchen and hotels.

“Following Mel’s claims in court that she was blackmailed into staying with her husband, women are genuinely concerned they may be used as unwitting pawns in their bitter divorce.

“One is a frontline presenter of a popular entertainment show who is ‘in pieces’ she may have been recorded.

“She has told her bosses who have vowed to stand by her.”

Lawyers are believed to have assured worried clients anyone uploading footage would face millions of dollars in damages, as recent cases have shown.

One of Belafonte’s favourite threesomes venues is said to be the Playboy mansion.

He is alleged to have “hounded and cajoled” Mel into visiting the home where Hugh Hefner lives with his centrefolds.

Once inside, she claims he encouraged her to drink until her inhibitions were down before trying to entice a Playboy Bunny to join them.

Sources connected with Belafonte say he said he had an open marriage, denied by Mel.

In her application for a restraining order, Mel claimed that she had often tried to leave her abusive marriage but was unable to due to the threat of releasing secret tapes. She said: “When I threatened to leave, respondent (Belafonte) informed me that he has videos of our sex life and other private moments. “Once respondent made the threat of releasing the videos, it became impossible to say no to him, giving him complete control.” She went on: “Respondent often demanded I participate in sexual intercourse with him and random women he brought back to our hotel rooms. “If I objected to participating, he would threaten to release compromising videos of me. He would often times surreptitiously videotape these encounters, and, if I discovered the recording, I would beg him to delete them.”

It is not known if any of the women who had sex with Mel and Belafonte, 41, knew they were being recorded, but several more are on the verge of coming forward.

Friends of the Leeds-born singer have said they grew increasingly sceptical of her excuses to explain

injuries to her body and they wanted her to go to the police.

But the mum of three, who married Belafonte in June 2007 after just two months together while she was pregnant with Eddie Murphy’s child, allegedly begged them to keep it quiet. TV bosses have set up a “ring of steel” as a precaution around America’s Got Talent.

Close friend and show boss Simon Cowell said: “She is what we call a trouper. She’s holding up. I’ve spoken to her. I am impressed with her.”

In 2014, when the Wannabe singer says she tried to take her own life with an aspirin overdose, he apparently tried to convince her to leave the volatile marriage, helping her find a lawyer.

Mel claimed Belafonte stopped her calling 999 for help after she took the pills, telling her to “die, bitch”.

It came seven months after Belafonte allegedly got nanny Lorraine Gilles pregnant.

The couple have not seen each other in a fortnight as she is fearful for her safety in his company.

But Mel is “still terrified” Belafonte, who she claims often punched her in the face and pushed her down, wants to argue about the divorce face-to-face.

A US TV source said: “Mel is petrified about her safety and fears that Belafonte may attempt to crash the filming.”

Belafonte has denied the allegations in the court papers.

He refused to deny them when asked about the restraining order on Tuesday night after having previously said they were not true.

He insisted: “I will have my day in court. I guess someone is making a lot of money off this, namely the lawyers.”
