DAREDEVIL pensioner Jack Reynolds marked his 105th birthday by becoming the world’s oldest person to ride a rollercoaster.

He rode the Twistosaurus attraction at Yorkshire’s Flamingo Land theme park before being presented with his official framed Guinness World Record certificate.

Age-defying Jack already holds the world record, set last year, for being the oldest person to get a tattoo.

He said he was “amazed” by his first rollercoaster ride in 80 years, which also raised funds for the charity air ambulance service.

Jack said: “Quite often we have the air ambulance over our district and it impressed me it is all run by charity.”

The great-grandad, from Derbyshire, described the rollercoaster as “so different” from the fairground rides of his youth, adding: “Every bit was good.”

As he was handed a cup of tea after his feat, broadcast on breakfast television, he added that it was his usual drop of whisky in the morning that helped him stay fit and healthy.

Speaking ahead of his rollercoaster ride, Jack said: “I went on the aeroplane and that sort of thing. I’ve done some quite exciting things but this is one that really is different.”

On his 104th birthday, the former railway plate layer got his date of birth and “Jacko” inked on his right arm.

His daughter and grandson got matching tattoos.

He also became the oldest person to do the Ice Bucket Challenge at 102 years old.
