I’ve ‘given birth’ says 1D Harry

HARRY Styles yesterday spoke of becoming a “dad” – to his first solo single.

Harry, 23 – whose One Direction bandmates Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne have become first-time fathers recently – compared the release to giving birth.

He debuted Sign Of The Times on Nick Grimshaw’s Radio 1 breakfast show and told the host: “I hope people like it.

“It’s a bit weird. I feel like I’ve been hibernating in the studio for so long and you hear it in the safety of the studio and now it’s time to give birth.”

Fans and other musicians gave the single – released in advance of Harry’s upcoming album – a warm welcome on Twitter.

But he said his solo venture and his role in the new film Dunkirk left him little time for a personal life.

He said: “I haven’t dated in a long time really because I went away to do the movie then did the album.” PRINCE Harry might have been offering some advice on being caught naked on camera yesterday.

But unlike when Harry was snapped in Vegas a few years ago, ex-rugby player Matt Attwood had a good excuse. He was taking part in research on sport injuries at Bath University.

Harry was there to see UK team trials for the Invictus Games for wounded and disabled military personnel.

And he took the time to spar with archery and throwing competitor Dan Phillips’s son Harry, two.
