SCOTT SINCLAIR (Celtic) Sinclair will take some beating when this season’s awards are handed out. His Celtic team-mates Scott Brown and Moussa Dembele are also likely to be in the running – which could split the vote – but Sinclair has been this campaign’s outstanding performer by some distance. JOHN McGINN (Hibs) It takes some doing to break into the Scotland set-up as a Championship player which is why McGinn is by far and away the outstanding candidate. He’s a Premiership player in the wrong league and Hibs should hold on to him for as long as they possibly can. SCOTT SINCLAIR (Celtic) From the moment Sinclair arrived at Celtic his impact was instant as he added a different and more clinical dimension to the Hoops. His brilliance has been matched by an impressive work-rate and his confidence on the field has lifted others around him. THOMAS O’WARE (Morton) Unsung hero and a defender who’s already in double figures for goals. A real leader in a Morton side which have surpassed all expectations and a player whose reading of the game should ensure he’s destined for bigger things. SCOTT BROWN (Celtic) The other Scott (Sinclair) will hog the limelight with his goals and attacking flair but I reckon the captain has been the driving force of Celtic’s season.

This time last year he was running on empty, struggling with injuries but Brown has been transformed this year under Brendan Rodgers to become the beating heart of the manager’s revolution. THOMAS O’WARE (Morton) Hibs are packed with outstanding talents but a special shout should be saved for Morton’s Mr Dependable who has been crucial to their remarkable season.

The fact that Morton have lost only one game at home all season (and even that was only the other week against Dunfermline) is testament to the organisation of Jim Duffy’s side. O’Ware has been the towering influence upon which Ton’s resolve is built. SCOTT SINCLAIR (Celtic) It has to be Sinclair. His goal return from a wide position is staggering. Moussa Dembele grabbed the headlines for a spell but had a quiet December.

Scott Brown deserves a mention too for his displays but Sinclair has consistently been the best. JASON CUMMINGS (Hibs) Hibs simply couldn’t afford not to go up this season and holding on to Cummings was key.

He’s a big game player and his 21 goals will ensure they win the title and maybe even retain the Scottish Cup. Hibs fans should enjoy him while they can. SCOTT SINCLAIR (Celtic) The £3.5million summer signing from Aston Villa has justified every penny of his move north of the border.
