We’ve got preview screenings in Aberdeen, Inverness, Dundee, Ayr, Glasgow and Edinburgh on Wednesday, May 3, at 6pm for 6.30pm.

The remake of the beloved black and white original – which was directed by Alexander Mackendrick for Ealing Studios and based on the novel by Sir Compton Mackenzie – has an ensemble cast.

It includes well known Scots actors Gregor Fisher, Iain Robertson, Brian Pettifer and James Cosmo, and also features Eddie Izzard as uptight Home Guard Captain Waggett.
