10 fans arrested at Old Firm cup semi
TEN men were arrested at the Old Firm Scottish Cup semi-final in Hampden yesterday.
The men – who were aged between 19 and 50 – were reported to the procurator fiscal for offences including alleged possession of alcohol, possession of controlled substances, breach of the peace and being drunk and incapable.
Two of the men, aged 19 and 20, were due to appear in Glasgow Sherrif Court today.
Superintendent Alan Murray, match commander said: “The overwhelming majority of fans attending both games behaved very well and worked with the stewards and police to ensure the events passed off safely.”
