Odds in Hoops’ favour
CELTIC are now massive favourites with the bookies to win the Scottish Cup and complete the Treble after yesterday’s Hampden stroll.
The Hoops eased past old rivals Rangers with a 2-0 win to set up a final clash with Aberdeen next month.
Tournament sponsors William Hill have made Brendan Rodgers’s men 2-7 to go on to complete the clean sweep on May 27.
The champions are 4-6 to finish the job inside 90 minutes at Hampden.
Aberdeen are 5-2 to lift the trophy for the first time since beating Celts back in 1990 and 16-5 to do it inside 90 minutes.
Hills spokesman Joe Crilly said: “It was a traditional Old Firm game and Celtic are now the red-hot favourites to win the Scottish Cup.”
The sides meet again in the Premiership at Ibrox on Saturday and Rangers are 7-2 with McBookie to end their rivals’ unbeaten domestic run this season.
Celtic are 3-4 with the Scots firm and a draw pays 3-1.
