Dope ban Maria wants back on grass

-

IT’S been a week of trying to right some wrongs.

Brad Pitt says he’s quit boozing and started therapy to help him get through his divorce from Angelina Jolie.

A therapist isn’t a problem for Brad as he’s used to lying on couches.

Mainly because that’s where Angie had him sleeping for the last few months of their marriage.

In fairness, Brad knew something was wrong with Angelina when she took a recent trip to Africa – and didn’t come home with another wean.

Meanwhile, Maria Sharapova is back playing tennis after her drug scandal. Aye, apparently somebody spiked her deuce.

She was found to be on a substance at last year’s Australian Open.

Be fair, it was the only way she could get through Tim Henman’s commentary.

Sharapova has already lost sponsorship from Nike, Porsche and Tag Heuer.

Although for some reason Superdrug have now expressed a keen interest.

Not only did Sharapova take the drug but she failed to open the email telling her it was banned. So really she was at double fault.

Wimbledon bosses say they’ll welcome Maria back.

Although coming so soon after the end of her doping ban, I’m surprised they’re letting her play on grass.

If she wins, Maria could take home the biggest prize in SW19 history – more than £1million.

That’s a massive incentive at Wimbledon. As it means you can just about afford a punnet of their daft strawberries.
