Pregnant Ferne distraught in first TV appearance since ex charged
TEARFUL Ferne McCann has told of the stress she has endured after the father of her unborn baby was accused of a nightclub acid attack.
In her first interview since Arthur Collins was arrested, reality TV star Ferne said: “It’s not going to be easy but I’m going to be the best possible mum I can be.
“It has been such a stressful, surreal situation to be in that I’m actually feeling good and positive because I’m pregnant. That has given me strength and hope to get through this.”
Emotional Ferne, 26, told the This Morning show on ITV yesterday: “This isn’t how I imagined my first pregnancy to be but it’s not about me, it’s about this baby.” She broke down in tears as she added: “My main concern and priority is the baby.”

Ferne, a showbiz reporter on This Morning, split from scaffolder Collins, 25, after he was named as a suspect.
The alleged acid attack in a club in Hackney, east London, on Easter Monday left 14 people burnt. Two were blinded in one eye.
Collins has been charged with 14 counts of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and one count of throwing corrosive fluid on a person with intent to cause GBH.
Ferne is said to have told him the news about the pregnancy days before the nightclub incident.
