Buzz off BGT, just like Eurovision hopes

-

TV ROUND-UP and Britain’s Got Talent received a boost to viewing figures. Though that’s only because the acts are so mental, most folk think they’re watching Doctor Who on the other side.

Viewers were outraged when contestant Irshad Shaihk went through, despite getting buzzed off by every judge.

He’s been called the second worst impersonator in the show’s history. Behind Amanda Holden still claiming she’s a celebrity.

There was also viewer outrage at the new Barbara Windsor biopic. Babs was called “unwatchable” and “hard to follow”. Which is why it’s now been described as the Scottish fitba of TV programmes.

The plot was all over the place and forced viewers to concentrate on two big things at once. Though, given Babs’s famous assets, it was probably a fitting tribute.

Elsewhere, ITV got pelters after they showed the famous chest buster scene from horror film Alien on a Saturday morning.

They’ve been told that it’s unacceptable to broadcast anything coming out of someone’s stomach on breakfast telly...unless it’s a sword being yanked out of Piers Morgan’s chest.

And of course, it’s Eurovision tonight. This is where all of Europe comes together – and formally begins the Brexit process.

Good luck to UK entrant Lucie Jones. She’s been rehearsing non-stop for the big show. Partly on her song. And partly on her daft smile when the camera cuts to her at the end and she’s got nil points.
