Beaten star ‘robbed in Vegas hotel suite at 6am after boozing with four glamour girls and mystery Brit’
IT’S not been a good month for former world boxing champ Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
First, he was beaten out of sight by fellowMexican Canelo Alvarez in front of 20,000 fight fans in Vegas.
Then just two days later, according to his wife, he was robbed in his own hotel suite between 5am and 6am by four scantily clad women and a mysterious British man he had met in the bar.
Frida Chavez said the gang got her man drunk them took him back to the suite before nicking his £30,000 Hublot watch and his phone.
She says they also swiped his £2.3million cheque from the Alvarez fight from a table but it was later found elsewhere in the suite. And she accuses the thieves of taunting her and her husband with videos they shot during the heist.
One clip taken in the suite shows Chavez on a bed, apparently drunk, with his T-shirt raised and one of the women stroking his chest.
Others show the “Brit” pulling down a woman’s trousers to show her backside and another of the women baring her bum.
Frida says that as well as sending her the videos, the thieves have called and texted her from her husband’s stolen phone.
She and Chavez, 31, stayed on at the MGM Grand in Vegas to relax after the Alvarez fight, where he lost every round.
Frida was elsewhere in the hotel looking after Chavez’s daughter while he was cavorting with his new friends, but she appears to have forgiven him.
