THE Chelsea Flower Show has been officially confirmed as the best in the world.

Presumably just ahead of The Spurs Flower Show with Arsenal finishing fifth.

Alan Titchmarsh claims the pansy fest has given gardening a “powerful shot in the arm”. Possibly the first time that phrase has been used in association with gardening – outside a poppy field.

In fairness, Alan loves gardening, which is just as well. Seeing as his hair’s cut in the shape of a hedge.
