Statins ‘help heart health’

STATINS don’t only lower cholesterol but also boost heart health, according to research.

Scientists at Queen Mary University of London found the pills improve blood flow and lower blood pressure and stress on the heart.

Their findings were presented at the European Society of Cardiology’s annual meeting in Prague.
