Eurostar Samuela dealsinat Warriors

SAMUELA VUNISA admits the chance to work with Dave Rennie sold him on a switch to Glasgow.

The Fijian-born back-row has clinched a two-year deal at Warriors from European champions Saracens.

Vunisa said: “I’m really excited about returning to the Pro12 scene – especially with Warriors under Dave.

“He’s a world-class coach, respected everywhere. I’m looking forward to working with him as I know he’ll get the best out of me.”

Glasgow No.2 Jon Humphreys said: “Samuela is a strong runner and ball carrier and will add to our strength in depth.

“He joins from a winning environment and has played at the highest level on the international stage.”

Meanwhile, ex-Warrior Sean Maitland has extended his stay with Sarries.

The Scotland winger has penned a new contract at Allianz Park until 2020 after a fine first season.
