All fired up for shot at promotion

JULIE McSHERRY hopes picking up their first senior trophy will spur Cumbernauld Colts on to promotion to SWPL2 this season.

They recently defeated Celtic Academy to clinch the Division One League Cup – ending a long wait for silverware.

Colts sit mid-table and eight points adrift of leaders Kilmarnock but McSherry hasn’t given up hope after their dramatic cup win.
