Kilby can make up for agony with cup

-

EAST KILBRIDE manager Martin Lauchlan has told his players to put the agony of their failed promotion bid behind them tomorrow.

Kilby go into their last game of the season against Cumbernauld Colts in the Final of the SFA South Region Challenge Cup at Falkirk Stadium.

They won the trophy four years ago when they beat Dalbeattie Star but Lauchlan wants to add the silverware to his successes with Kilby.

But he knows Colts, playing their first senior cup final, will be difficult to beat and they already have a Lowland League win over the K-Park side in December.

Last weekend Kilby missed out on promotion to SPFL League Two after the play-off final shootout defeat to Cowdenbeath.

But Lauchlan said: “I have told the lads to put the disappointment behind them and go out on a winning note. I’m hoping we bring the Cup home.”
