Silva the first of City spree

BERNARDO SILVA has become the first signing of Manchester City’s £200million summer spending spree.

The Portugal midfielder had a medical yesterday ahead of his £43million move from French champs Monaco. City boss Pep Guardiola is also keen on Alexis Sanchez and will offer close to £300,000 a week in an attempt to tempt him from Arsenal.

City want Spurs defender Kyle Walker in a £40m deal and are in negotiations for Monaco left-back Benjamin Mendy.
