IF YOU’RE looking for a cool new career, KB Refrigeration could have the perfect job for you.

They are the largest refrigeration service provider to retail establishments and employ more than 200 staff across the UK.

And, due to recent expansion, the company are looking to add to their workforce in various positions across Scotland.

They’re recruiting for commercial refrigeration engineers, air conditioning engineers, electricians, commercial gas engineers, refrigeration and air conditioning commissioning engineers, refrigeration design/project managers and service administrators.

Successful candidates will be joining a business who provide full refrigeration, M&E and HVAC service and maintenance packages to retail outlets, as well as public sector buildings such as schools, hospitals, universities and care homes across Scotland and the north of England.

Their contracts department is also equipped to fully design, project manage, install and commission all sizes of systems from small coldrooms to full supermarket installations.

KB put a lot of their success during the last 30 years down to the recruitment and training of apprentices, in both engineering and admin roles.

Right now, they have more than 20 trainees, ranging from engineering apprentices, mature apprentices and administration trainees studying for SVQs.

Second-year apprentice Sam Caig said: “KB are a great company to learn my trade, with top-quality engineers passing on their knowledge and experience.

“Glasgow Kelvin College and BESA, our training provider, also provide fantastic support in achieving our formal qualifications.”
