VILE SIDDIQ SPAT HATE AT TROOPS
THE Scots extremist who called for an apology from Manchester after the terror atrocity has a conviction for ranting at British soldiers.
Muslim convert Hamza Siddiq – born Andrew Calladine – was chased out of his Kirkcudbright home at the weekend after a series of vile online tirades over the suicide bombing.
Now we can reveal he has form for offensive behaviour. The ranting fanatic wrecked a British Army recruitment display and told soldiers to repent to Allah for their “crimes” in Afghanistan or face “the hellfire”.
Siddiq was fined just £140 for the incident last March and later bragged about telling the judge he only recognised sharia law.
A source said: “Siddiq has been ranting on the streets about Britain deserving every terror attack it gets.
“He targeted soldiers in Nottingham city centre despite knowing that would spark terror in people who witnessed it.
“His life is dedicated to radical Islamist thinking.
“His unflinching support for some of the most dangerous British clerics makes it plain he is well-connected and has no sympathy whatsoever for the children who died in Manchester.”
We can reveal that computer programmer Siddiq has been arrested over Facebook comments claiming the Manchester bomb was justified.
He was “released under investigation” after being held for the online outbursts – meaning he remains under police observation and could be taken into custody at any time.
Siddiq runs a sinister website called We Hear and Obey which drums up support for extreme Islamist leaders including Sheikh Omar Bakri Muhammad, who radicalised soldier Lee Rigby’s killers.
The site also pays tribute to Isis mouthpiece Anjem Choudary, who is in jail for inviting support for the savage death cult.
Our source added: “Hamza is a big league player in the UK jihadist scene. He runs a potentially illegal website praising convicted jihadists.”
Siddiq wrote on Facebook the day after the Manchester bomb: “I refuse to apologise for it or pretend I don’t know the cause.
“The blame for it lies at the feet of the politicians, their police and their armies. It was an inevitable consequence of British foreign and domestic policy towards Muslims.”
He added: “Why should we care when the table turns. Do they think they can prod a hornet’s nest and not get stung?”
Siddiq demanded an apology from grieving Mancunians for the “crimes” of the British armed forces.
