£113m cyber crook plots same fraud from jail cell

Playboy conman Fizzy faces new sentence

THE Scots conman behind the UK’s biggest ever cyber fraud plotted an identical con from behind bars.

Feezan “Fizzy” Hameed Choudhary, 26, tried to repeat his £113million “vishing” scam while on remand awaiting trial for the crime.

Yesterday, the fraudster, who was jailed for 11 years last September, admitted a new charge of conspiracy to defraud.

He was remanded in custody by a judge at Southwark Crown Court pending sentence on June 28.

Choudhary, from Glasgow, lived the high life on the proceeds of his crimes.

He partied with pop stars while splurging on Rolex watches, expensive jewellery and trips to Dubai.

The conman also owned a fleet of luxury cars, including a Bentley and Lamborghini, as more than £2million rolled in from the scam every month.

He was so obsessive about his collection of motors he flew car polishers 8000 miles from Scotland to Pakistan to polish Porsches parked outside his villa in Lahore.

His brother Nouman Choudhary, 22, faced the earlier trial alongside him and was jailed for three-and-a-half years for conspiracy to launder cash through property in Scotland and Pakistan.

In the latest case, the younger Choudhary denied one count of conspiracy to defraud and the charge was dropped by the prosecution.

Fizzy and his team tricked bank customers into revealing confidential information in order to gain access to their accounts and steal funds.

Victims were contacted by hustlers pretending to be from the Lloyds or RBS anti-fraud department, who would dupe them into revealing details.

Accounts were than ransacked and the cash was transferred through a string of mule accounts provided by crooked bank employees.

The funds were then withdrawn from branches and ATMs – often just hours after the original fraud.
